Passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. He was born on December 13, 1946 to John F. And Evelyn C. Rohlin in Washington, D.C. He is survived by his brothers and sisters; William, Marilyn, Francis, Joseph, Timothy, Christopher, Anne, Teresa, David, Michael and Robert; friends, Les, Pat, and Don; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John F. Rohlin, mother, Evelyn Rohlin (Corridon) and brothers John and Richard.
Jim was a United States Marine Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was a natural athlete and excelled in basketball, baseball, and soccer in high school in South Windsor, Connecticut. Jim loved freedom, adventure, and risk taking. He was easy going and a loyal friend with a sense of humor. Gone too soon and he is missed.
The Mass of Christian Burial for James will be held at St. Joseph Oratory on Monday, April 17, 2017 at 10:30 AM with Fr. Brian Lenz officiating. Interment will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan on Tuesday, April 18 at 11:30 AM.
The family will receive friends at St. Joseph Oratory on Monday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
