Navarre, James "Jim" M.
of Michigan Center, passed away at his home on Sunday, January 9, 2011, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 60 years. He is survived by his wife, Fawn M. Navarre; five children, Jamie (Melanie) Navarre, Kristine (David) Sevilla, Jeffrey (Breanna) Navarre, Aaron Navarre, Nathan Pepper; six grandchildren, Madison and Aidan Navarre, Cameron and Gavrielle Sevilla, Nevaeh and Bryce Navarre; siblings, Sandra K. (David) Brashares, David R. (Cheryl) Navarre, Mary Kathryn (Chuck) Connolly; in-laws, Wilfred and Kay Carson; numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Lois Navarre. Jim worked as a car salesman for 20 years at Jensen Lincoln Mercury and lastly at Palmer Ford. Jim was also an avid NASCAR fan spending many years working the Michigan races at MIS, where he was a supervisor for grand stand security. According to his wishes, Jim has been cremated. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 2:00 PM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church with Reverend Andrew Dunne O.S.F.S. officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church prior to the Mass, from 1–2 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family would be appreciated.
