Knickerbocker, James Larry
On Sunday, September 6th, 2015 James Larry Knickerbocker went to be with the Lord. James was preceded in death by his wife, JoDeanne Knickerbocker and daughter, Sheryl Knickerbocker. James had four children, Sheryl Knickerbocker , Vicky (Mike) Schultz , Joseph (Amy) Knickerbocker, Laurie (Kip) Ewer; 6 grand kids and 6 great grandchildren.
James loved fishing, woodworking, and most of all, spending time with his family. James was a member of the US Army 11th Airborne Division and retired from Harvard Industries of Jackson, Michigan.
Mr. Knickerbocker is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a celebration of his life will be held on Friday, September 11 at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Dexter Hurt officiating. Interment will follow at Roseland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 Noon.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Toni and Lindsey from Arbor Manor and also Hospice of Lenawee County.
