Bendele, James H. "J.B."

of Florida, formerly of Jackson, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the age of 71 years. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carolyn; two sons, Tony (Kim) Bendele and Matt (Chris) Bendele; one "daughter", Robyn (Brett) Halsey; four grandchildren, Kasey, Kayla, Mike and Nick; one sister, Jeannette Taylor; three brothers, William, John and Edward Bendele; special friends, P.J. and Mary McDonald and family; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Sylvester Bendele, and one sister, Arline Bickham.

James was an avid outdoorsman and MSU Spartan fan and loved his place in Ft. Myers, Florida. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era and worked as a salesman for Stadelman Distributing Co. for many years.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Monday, December 19 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, December 20 at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church at 10:00 AM with Father Tim Nelson as the celebrant.
