MIZNER, JAMES I. "JIM"
Of Jackson passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010 age 64 years. Survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Jo. Son; Christopher (Keri) Mizner, daughter; Lisa Fox. Seven grandchildren; Jacob, Sam and Abby Mizner, Bradley (Cassady), Marc and Ryan Fox and Kenneth Boody. One great granddaughter; Jadyn Fox. Four brothers and sisters; Joyce Bailey, Raymond (Betty) Mizner, Robert (Audrey) Mizner, Jeanne Burton (Jack). Several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his son James Raymond Mizner, parents Raymond and Nigel and sister Joann Herrington. Jim was employed by Local #333 Plumbers & Pipefitters Union for 40 years.. He was the foreman for several large projects including: A.N.J. Prison complex in Jackson, Bosch Mechanical, John E. Green, T.H. Eifert - Prison complex in Jackson and Kvaerner Songer (DSI Constructors) Power House in Jackson. Mr. Mizner is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where services will be held Monday, March 15, 2010 at 1:00 PM. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Jim's good friend Benny Poxson will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.
Contributions to the American Cancer Society or the Jackson Interfaith Shelter would be appreciated.
