Gough, James U.

of Jackson, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, from complications of Alzheimer's, at the age of 84 years. Jim was born on September 16, 1932 to Leroy and Lucille Gough. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Rosemary "Rosie"; five children, Terrie (Bud) Wright, Dan (Tina) Gough, Patti (Larry) Dault, Marty Gough and Pete (Cheryl) Gough; 14 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.

Jim was a CPA, retiring from Frontier Telecommunications, was an Army Veteran, a member of the Kiwanis Club, and a faithful, lifetime member of St. John Catholic Church.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, July 21 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a Scripture Service taking place at 7:30 PM.

The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 1:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father James Shaver as the celebrant.  Interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.  There will be a brief Prayer Service at the Desnoyer Funeral Home, before the Mass, at 12:30 PM.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. John Catholic Church.
