Dillon, James E.

of Jackson, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 at the age of 87 years. He is survived by his two children, Bill (Erika) Dillon and Jill (Doug) Mayo; grandchildren, Ashley, Josh, Jessica, and Gabriella; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Janis; his second wife, Cathy; and two brothers and two sisters.

James was a United States Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was the bartender of Denton's Den for many years and was a member of the U.A.W., Eagles, and the Moose.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father James Shaver officiating. The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church's Facebook Page. Cremation will follow the Funeral Mass.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Monday, January 17 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. The family will also receive friends on Tuesday, January 18 from 10:00 to 10:30 AM.

Instead of sending flowers, contributions to St. John's Church would be appreciated.
