Vogt, Irene I.
of Jackson, passed away under the loving care of her family on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at the age of 79 years. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Thomas; two daughters, Julie (Frank) Dixon and Lori (Richard) Hoop; stepsons, Daniel (Nancy) Vogt, David Vogt, and Christopher Vogt; grandchildren, Megan, Alexander, Allison, Matthew, and Sarah Hoop, Nickolas, Michael, and Taira Vogt, and Nathan (Jaclyn) Vogt; brothers and sisters, Wanda (Rex) Kanitz, Earl (Doris) Roehm, Betty Steeb, Marlena Alber, Karen Luckhardt, and Karl (Jacki) Roehm; sisters-in-law, Donna Roehm and Julie Selders; brother-in-law, Michael (Margie) Vogt; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her two brothers, Orman and Eugene Roehm and two brothers-in-law, Paul Steeb and Larry Luckhardt.
Irene loved to follow her grandchildren's activities, playing euchre with her friends and family, traveling up north, and was an avid Michigan fan. She was a longtime active member at St. John's Church.
Mrs. Vogt is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Fr. Timothy MacDonald officiating. Interment will follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, April 7 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 5:30 PM.
Instead of sending flowers, contributions to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church would be appreciated.
