Louis, Herbert C. "Herb"
of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the age of 86 years. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helen "Lennie"; two daughters, Lee Ann (Jay) Louis-Prescott and Julie (Jim) Benaglio; five grandchildren, Steve, Yvonne, Jessie, Jamie, and Leah. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven.
Herb graduated from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the owner and operator of Louis 24 Hour Service for many years. Herb was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, a member of the Knights of Columbus, an active volunteer at St. John's and Lumen Christi High School and was an avid golfer.
A private service has taken place for the family. Instead of flowers, contributions to St. John the Evangelist Catholic School or to Lumen Christi Catholic School would be appreciated.
