She started as a waitress advanced to the hostess position. She finished her career as the Assistant Manager. She was voted Most Hospitable Person in the state of Michigan in 1983 by the National Restaurant Association. She loved her job all the people she worked with, all the friends she made throughout her life and career. She actually gave business a try with her husband John. In 1984 she opened a restaurant, Henrietta's Patio in downtown Jackson. She loved shopping, vacationing, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and over her last couple of years she really enjoyed her weekly visits with her great grandchildren Aidan Aleksander and Brynlee. We greatly appreciate the loving care she received at Country Meadows Care home from Thera, Nicky, and Ginny. She will be sadly missed by all who chanced to meet and know her.
A memorial service will be held to honor her life on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Gene Davis and Sons Banquet Hall at 1:00 pm with Father Jim Shaver Officiating.
Instead of sending flowers, contributions to Southern Care Hospice would be appreciated.
