Goede, Helmuth Ernst
died peacefully at home on Thursday, October 14, 2010. Helmuth was a beloved son, father, brother, husband and trusted friend to many. Mr. Goede was born in Harslev, Denmark, January 10, 1945. The son of Ernst Goede of Harslev, Denmark and Marie (Holst) Goede of Loeken, Denmark. He graduated from high school in Denmark and studied art & art history at the Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen. Helmuth was an artist. Helmuth enjoyed creative expression, history and relaxing with music and a good book. He had a great sense of humor and always had a wonderful story to tell. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Goede is survived by his wife, Terrie Goede of Jackson; son, Danny Peter Goede of Ballerup, Denmark; sister, Birgit Thompson of Odense, Denmark and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, father Ernst Christan Goede, mother Marie Nielda (Holst) Goede, and brother John Goede. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
