Skutt, Helen Agnes
of Jackson, passed away at the Jackson County Medical Care Facility, on Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at the age of 94 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Merwin Mathews Skutt, on December 24, 2011. She is survived by two daughters, Rosemary (Duane) Sell and Gloria (Frank) Warner Sr; three grandchildren, Kelli Lewis, Kathleen (Scott) Olds and Frank (Tami) Warner Jr.; six great grandchildren, Craig (Kari) Warner, Ashley (Richie) Stiles, Dakota and Zachary Miller, Trenton and Sara Olds; five great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Suzanne; one great granddaughter, Amanda; two brothers and one sister. Helen was retired from the meat department of the A & P Grocery Store.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday from 2–4 and 6–8 PM with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church at 1:00 PM with the family receiving friends from 12:30 to 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at Roseland Memorial Gardens.
Contributions to Allegiance Hospice or to the Jackson County Medical Care Facility Activity Fund would be appreciated.
