Lee (Samels), Helen Marie
Of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018 age 97 years. Survived by several nieces and nephews, grand and great grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Frank, John and Ted Samels. Helen retired from Peet Packing Company after 27 years of service. She was a Past President of Alpha Pi Beta, a member of the Gold Star Wives of American, Queen's Church and Guild. According to her wishes a private burial has taken place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be held at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 10:30 AM with Fr. Timothy MacDonald officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Church on Saturday from 10:00 to 10:30 AM.
Contributions to Queen's School Educational Fund would be appreciated.
