ABERNATHY (COOLIDGE), HELEN M.
Passed away peacefully at the Jackson County Medical Care Facility on Sunday, December 18, 2011. Survived by her loving husband, Richard. Son Douglas Coolidge, step-daughters; Barbara Abernathy (Rick Canine), Carol Eadie (Bob), Jane Winright (James Terry). Grandchildren; Mark and Mike Chaffin, Sarah Keel, Kevin Winright, Bobby Eadie, Patrick, Cindy, Amber and Douglas McInerney. Sisters; Eleanor Gillis and Lorna Corbat. Several great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by sons Michael and Patrick and several brothers and sisters.
Helen worked at Jacobsons and Margaret Mary for many years. She loved to travel and dance.
According to her wishes Helen has been cremated. A memorial service will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Wednesday at 3:00 PM with Father Tim Nelson officiating.
Donations to the American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 3 PM.
