Davis, H.E. "Gene"

of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at the age of 85 years. He is survived by his sons, Gene Jr., Mark (Cindy), and Ken (Jamie) Davis; daughter-in-law, Linda Chapman; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Chuck Richmond and Glen Stuard. He was preceded in death by the love of his life for 67 years, Delores; two children, Debra Lee Davis and Curt Hershel Davis; grandson, Jesse James Davis; great-grandson, Trenton "Charlie" Davis; and brothers, Cecil and James.

Gene loved to travel, try new restaurants, and was a member of the Masons. He started numerous business and his legacy was his children. Gene was a legend and well known in the business community.

"I came to Michigan with nothing and I am leaving with nothing."

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no services held at this time.

Instead of sending flowers, contributions to the Alzheimer's Association in the memory of his wife, Delores would be appreciated.
