Stevens, Harriett J.

Of Jackson, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 9, 2013, at the age of 84 years. She is survived by five children; Thomas (Barb) Stevens, Brian Stevens, Patrick Stevens, Daniel Stevens, and Brent Stevens; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters; Gloria Reul, Peggy Kirk, and Lorraine (Gary) Thorne; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Harriett was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert E. Stevens; daughter, Mary Josephine, six brothers and six sisters. Harriett was a long time member of St. Johns Church.

Mrs. Stevens is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held on Thursday, December 12th at 12:30 PM followed by the Mass of the Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 1:00 PM. Father James Shaver will officiate at the Funeral Mass with interment to follow at Roseland Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM with a Vigil Service at 6 PM.

In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Johns Church Heritage Fund or Charity of choice would be appreciated.
