Of Jackson passed away suddenly Sunday, July 18, 2010 age 87 years. Survived by two sisters; Genevieve and Irene Zuchowski. Sister in law, Dorothy Zuchowski, several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Preceded in death by her husband Glen VanAlstine, two brothers; Edward and Bernard Zuchowski and sister in law Marie Zuchowski. Mrs. VanAlstine is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held Wednesday 9:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stanislaus Kostka Chapel 10:00 AM. Interment St. John's Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Pienta officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Rosary Tuesday evening 3:30 PM.
