Armstrong, Guinevere A. "Guin"

Of Jackson, gained her wings on, Monday, May 29, 2023 surrounded by her family at the age of 69 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born on February 2, 1954, in Jackson, Michigan. She is preceded in passing by her parents, Meredith and Marilyn (McDonough) Armstrong and her loving partner, Rich Atzenhover Sr. She is survived by her children, Christina (Kevin) Klein and Merideth (Jonathan) Armstrong; grandchildren, Paige, Ashley, Angelika, Gavin, and Cash; siblings, Tim Armstrong, Debbie (Phil) Furnas, Julie (Mike) Williams, Tom (Joanne) Armstrong, Terry (Lara) Armstrong; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her friend of 56 years, Sharon Gilday.

Guin loved spending time with her family and friends and her constant companion her beloved dog Sidney. She worked as a Quality Inspector at Sparton Electronics until they closed in 2009 and then at Saline Lectronic where she retired in 2016. She was well known as an animal lover of all kinds, but she was partial to dogs and horses.

A procession will begin at 10:50 AM at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, June 2, arriving at St. John Catholic Cemetery at 11:00 AM for a Graveside Service with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating.
