Gregory Francis Karl
age 42, of Springport, MI went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 4, 2013. Preceded in death by his brother Armand and survived by his parents Dennis and Sue Karl; his siblings Denise (Jason) Smith, Bill Karl, David Karl, and Anita (Tomas) Lopez; nephew Anton, and nieces Alexandra, Kaili, Trinity, Layla, Selia, and Mia, all whom he loved dearly. Gregory was a graduate of Lyle Torrent School and attended Special Religious Education classes of the Diocese of Lansing. He was a member of Saint Peter Parish in Eaton Rapids.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 120 East Wesley Street, Jackson, with Father Tim Nelson as the celebrant. Interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM with a Rosary Service at 6:00 PM. The family will also receive friends at the church on Saturday from 9:30-10:00 AM.
The family would like to thank Critical Care Systems, Allegiance Home Care and the Allegiance Home Hospice nurses for their compassion, love, and care of our son, Gregory. We would, also, like to thank Allegiance Hospital for the excellent care that Gregory received during his stay there.
