Of Jackson, Michigan passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at his home. He was born February 16, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan to Arthur and Patricia (McGovern) Pula.
Greg had a Masters of Public Administration and a nursing degree and worked in the mental health specializing on psychiatric units and for the State of Michigan in Corrections as the Assistant Director of Nursing and at Foote Hospital for 10 years in the psychiatric units. Greg loved animals especially his dog Roc. Even with his health declining he would take his German Shepard Roc for rides in his golf cart through the neighborhood meeting and greeting his neighbors. He also enjoyed salt water aquariums that gave him much joy. He also enjoyed cooking and riding his Harley-Davidson.
Greg Pula is survived by his wife Nelda (Flores) Pula and his siblings Chris (Tom Biggert) , Anne Marie Pula-Campbell (Matt Campbell) , John (Pam) Pula, Barbara (Nick Ostrosky).
He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Patricia Pula.
His wife Nelda along with Allegiance Hospice cared for Greg during the final weeks of life.
Per his family wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a future date for family and friends. Memorial contributions may be made to Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice or Cascades Human Society, Jackson, Michigan.
