Gloria Murphy

Born February 9, 1924, passed into Eternal Life and celebrated her homecoming on October 21, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kevin Murphy, after 55 years of marriage. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Jerry) Potts. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life and left to cherish her memory are Brian Potts, Kelly (Ryan) Cannon, Kevin Potts, and Christoper (Jessica) Potts. She was also blessed with a great grandchild, Theo Cannon, who brought many smiles to her. Gloria loved her faith and her favorite activity was praying the rosary.

According to her wishes, Gloria has been cremated. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Fr. Tim Nelson and Fr. Richard Eberle O.S.F.S will be the celebrants.

The family will receive friends at St. Mary's Catholic Church from 9:30 until 10:00 AM on Wednesday.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts if desired can be made to Jackson Right to Life or St. Mary Star of the Sea Church.
