Age 72, passed away peacefully in her sleep, next to her beloved husband, Tim Kelly on December 22, 2014. The world became a better place when she was born, April 28, 1942 in Baltimore, Maryland. She moved to Michigan when she was 18-years-old and was a member of the first graduating class of Northwest High School in 1960. Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Tim, and they had a wonderful, happy life together. She was preceded in death by her daughter Laura Kelly-Moss; her grandchildren Kaitlyn and Kyle Kirkpatrick; her mother Isabelle Miller-Lusk; her in-laws Gerald and Stella Kelly; her sister Carole Mills and her brother Roger Hill.

She is survived by her daughters Robin (Ron) Kirkpatrick; Amy (Gary) Fletcher; five grandchildren: Adam Beatty, Courtney (Jason) Taylor; Carly Kirkpatrick; Colin Fletcher and Connor Kirkpatrick, and five great-grandchildren: Tresten, Riley, Hayden and McKenzie Beatty and Kendall Taylor, all of Jackson. Gloria is also survived by her sisters, Annette (Bill) Winn and Marilyn (Bob) Barton; her brother, William Hill; her brother and sister- in-law Gerald and Mary Jo Kelly; sister-in-law Mary Jane Sullivan and brother-in-law David Kelly. She also had many nieces and nephews.

Gloria retired as a Branch Manager after 26 years of service from City Bank and Trust Co., and later worked 21 years at Allegiance Health in Nursing Services. Gloria was happiest when she was working in her yard with Tim and she had an incredible green thumb. She lived life to the fullest, never met a stranger and made all she came in contact with feel special. She was loved by so many for her quick wit, warm personality and genuine caring ways. She was a faith-filled, humble woman who always put others first. She had a unique, special relationship with each of her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her unexpected passing leaves a void in many hearts, and she will be dearly missed by all.
