Our beautiful Mother went home to Heaven on Thursday, November 5th, 2015 at the age of 88. Survived by her children, Jeanne Jenski, Janet (Danny) Peckham, Charles (Marsha) Reul, Jennie Lynn (Tom) Betser; sister, Lorraine Thorne; 9 Grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Reul Sr., son-in-law Gary Jenski Sr., grandson Michael Jenski, 6 brothers and 8 sisters.
Gloria was a hair dresser, and retired from J.C. Penney Hair Salon at age 74. She was also a long time member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Gloria is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 11 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Michael Mason officiating. Interment will take place at Maxon Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 10 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, before the funeral, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
We wish to thank the CNA's and Nurses at Jackson County Medical Care Unit One and also Hospice Advantage for all their loving care of our mother. We would also like to extend a special thank you to all who visited and/or sent cards to mom, it was deeply appreciated. Also, a special thanks to great grand daughter Ashley Croad for all her help when we needed her. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer's Association, or the charity of your choice.
