Beautiful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017 at the age of 89 after her courageous battle with Lewy Body Dementia, under the loving care of her family, RidgeCrest Health Campus and Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice.
Preceded in death by her husband, Richard T. Dailey, Sr., her son, Daniel M. Dailey and grandson, Michael I. Gorski, brothers, Joseph and Gerald. She is survived by her 5 children, Kathleen Way (Tom), Mark Dailey (Connie), Mary Beth Dailey, Richard T. Dailey, Jr. (Kathy) and Pamela Szczepanski (Terry); 13 grandchildren, Christa (Tim), Carolyn, Lisa (Nick), John, Stephen (Justin), Thomas (Meghan), David (Margaret), Julie (Ryan), Elicia, Sean (Leslie), Ryan (Tamara), Mallory and Kevin; 6 great-grandchildren, Cody, Ashley, Rayeanne, Mary, Patrick and Killian; sisters, Angela and Rose.
Gloria was a graduate of St. Mary's High School class of 1945. She devoted her life to her family, supported by her strong Catholic faith. Gloria's happiness came from giving to others and surrounding herself with her loving friends. Her natural given gift flourished through her beautiful decorating, style and grace.
The family wishes to thank the staff at RidgeCrest Health Campus, Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice staff, grand daughter Julie and friend Ilah Perry for the wonderful care and kindness given to our Mom and family.
The Mass of Christian burial will be held at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 10:30 AM with Father Timothy MacDonald officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM with a Rosary Service at 6 PM. The family will also receive friends on Monday from 10 to 10:30 AM at Queen's Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jackson Catholic Lumen Christi High School or Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice.
