DuBois, Geraldine Lynn "Gerry"

Of Jackson, age 76, passed away at Hospice House of Jackson on Wednesday, June 22 with her family by her side. She was the daughter of Edward and Winifred Stimer. She graduated from East Jackson High School in 1958 where she met and married her high school sweetheart in 1963. She worked at Jacobsons and retired from teaching preschool at St. Joseph's Daycare Center. She enjoyed the companionship of lifelong neighborhood friends and the highlight of her days included the stories and daily activities of her children and grandchildren.


She is survived by her husband Bob, daughter Renee (Dave) James, son Scott (Michelle) DuBois, sister Sandy (Phil) Sobieski, brother-in-law Ron (Bonnie) DuBois, grandchildren Brandon, Lyndsey, Morgan, Savannah, Cami, and John, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, and special sister-in-law Bev (Red) Natschke.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 27th at 10:30 AM at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church with Fr. Timothy MacDonald officiating. Interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Desnoyer Funeral Home on Sunday from 4:00-8:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM. The family will also receive friends at the Church on Monday from 10:00-10:30 AM.

Instead of sending flowers, friends may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
