Zweng, Gerald J. "Jerry"

of Jackson passed away Friday, August 23, 2013 at the age of 73 years. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Jean; two children, Jackie (Jim) Blanchard and Jodie (Chuck) Dennison; four granddaughters, Jordan and Jennah Blanchard and Amanda and Olivia Dennison; and sister Carolyn ( Ray) Grabowski. He was preceded in death by his son, Gerald Jr. and his brother, John. Jerry was a United States Army Veteran. He and Jean enjoyed wintering in Florida. Jerry dearly loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially with his four granddaughters. Mr. Zweng is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 11:00 AM with Father Jim Shaver officiating. A private interment will be held at St. John's Catholic Cemetery at a later date.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2 until 8 PM with a Rosary Service at 6:30 PM.
