Kryscio, Gerald "Jerry"
Age 66, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 26, 2018 in his home under the loving care of his family and Great Lakes Caring Hospice. Preceding him in death was his parents Pete and Lenora Kryscio. He is survived by his daughters, who along with Josh took tremendous care of him during his short battle with cancer, Angie (Josh) and Rachel (Brenden). Also survived by his brothers and sisters Tom, Nancy (Butch), Dan, Mary (Tim), Kathy (Bob), Sandy, Mike, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved four-legged buddies Harley, Floyd, Mister A, and Nemmie. He took a Frisbee with him to Heaven so they can fetch when they join him.
Jerry took up bowling in retirement and said he would be setting up games with his mom and dad as soon as possible. He was an avid Red Wings fan and for his last wish he was joined by his entire family and was a VIP at the March 8 game. He was treated top notch and got to high five the players in the tunnel before warm up. He received many gifts from the team with a very special one being a signed puck from his favorite player, the goalie, Jimmy Howard. Jerry was a kind, generous, and loving man who you could always count on and knew the importance of family and friends. He will be so greatly missed here on earth but pain free in Heaven.
