It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Gerald Hengesbaugh who passed away on December 14, 2024 at the age of 77. He was born on August 1, 1947 in Jackson to Robert and Sophie Hengesbaugh. Gerald graduated from St. John's High School in 1965 and shortly after he served in the United States Army in Vietnam. Upon returning home he become self employed as sub contractor for the Jackson Citizen Patriot for over 50 years. He was a life long fan of the Detroit Lions. He will be sadly missed by his sisters; Judy (Roy) Fuller, Carole (Martin) Markiewicz and Janet (Thomas) Pennington along with his numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Sophie, father Robert and nephew Ryan.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place. A private service will take place when his cremains are buried at St. John's Cemetery.
