HALEY, GERALD B.
Of Jackson, passed away at home under the loving care of his family on Sunday, February 17, 2013 at the age of 73 years. He is survived by his two sons, Gregory (Janice) Haley and Patrick Haley; three grandchildren, Brent, Zachery, and Cassandra; three great grandchildren, Gabriel, Ethan, and Reese; two brothers, Larry (Patsy) and Robert (Geraldine) Haley; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Marilyn, and two daughters, Mari Ann and Ann Marie Haley.
Gerald was a U.S. Navy Veteran, retiree of Consumers Energy, member of the Polish Falcons and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed playing the drums, hunting, and fishing.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Jackson on Saturday at 10:00 AM with Father Timothy Nelson officiating. Cremation will follow the Funeral Mass.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:00 AM at the church. A Rosary will be held on Friday at 7 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers contributions to Great Lakes Caring Hospice would be appreciated.
