Louagie, Gerald D. "Buff"
of Jackson, passed away at his home, after a brief illness, on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at the age of 68 years. He is survived by his wife, Roberta A.; two sons, Robert (Paula) Louagie, Chip (Denise) Louagie; two grandchildren, Danielle and Dominick; his mother, Dorothy Louagie; brothers and sisters, Tom Louagie, Mary Lu (Bill) Pauwels, Margie Heavy (Stuart Leigh), Vic Louagie, Dick (Joan) Louagie, Linda (Steve) McIntosh; sister-in-law, Carol Cross; numerous nieces, nephews and his beloved dog, Brady. He was preceded in death by his father, Victor and brother, Bob. Buff was an avid U of M and Tigers fan, was a member of the Grotto Club and U of M Club. He loved pontoon boats, sunsets, golfing and, most importantly, spending time with his family and friends. Mr. Louagie is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a brief prayer service will be held Tuesday 9:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church 10:00 AM. Interment St. John's Cemetery. The Rev. Cecilio Reyna officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM with a Rosary Service being held at 6:00 PM.
