Bojnowski, Gerald J.
Of Warren, passed away under the loving care of the Bethany Home on Tuesday, January 9, 2018, at the age of 90 years. Survived by his two nieces, Marianne (Barry) Ball and Margaret Chelemen; grand niece and nephews, Merideth, John, and Thomas. Preceded in death by his brother, Richard Harris (Bojnowski) and his sister, Margaret Jurczyszyn.
Gerald was a U.S. Army Medic serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a retired Tool and Die Maker from the Burroughs Corporation and Chrysler, in Detroit, and always took pride in his work. He was a devoted Catholic throughout his life. Gerald enjoyed music, dancing, humor and loved his family.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 12 at 1:30 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Fr. Robert Pienta officiating. Private Interment Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit.
The family would like to thank the Bethany Home for the wonderful care given to Gerald throughout the years.
