Hardt, George L.
of Jackson passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the age of 96 years. Survived by his children; Janet Long (Paul), Joyce Salyer, Jeannie(Martin) Bliss, Linda Lowe (Jerry), Charles (Marcia) Hardt, and James Hardt (Terri); stepchildren, CecilAnn Salyers, Jeanett Willcut, John Potter, Sidney (Diane) Potter, and Thomas Potter; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great- grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Daisy Mae Hardt and his brother, Rolland.
George retired from Teer-Wickwire after many years of service. He was a professional piano player. He loved music, fishing, hunting, playing the lottery, and his little dog Misty.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 2 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with entombment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at St. John's Church on Tuesday from 12 Noon to 2 PM.
In lieu of flowers contributions to the needs and wishes of the family would be appreciated.
