Granger, George C.
of Jackson, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the age of 84 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Charlotte "Chuckie" Granger. He is survived by two daughters; Cindy (Jeff) Buckler and Becky Jones; four grandchildren, Shawn (Brian) Bartel, Jamie Jones, Chad (Dawn) Knight and Justin (Katy) Knight; nine great grandchildren, Aries, Ashley, Haylee, Chase, Briana, Carson, Nathan, Brayden and Reagan; one great great grandson, Carter; one sister, Ann Marie Landry. George was also preceded in death by one brother, Floyd Jr. "Bud" Granger and one sister, Betty Granger.
George was a Commercial Electrician for I.B.E.W., was a member of the Guys and Dolls Dance Club, loved to golf and was a sports enthusiast.
Mr. Granger is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with Reverend Father James Shaver officiating. A private interment will take place at Roseland Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2–4 and 6–7 PM.
