Brenner, George John
Passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2017. He was born June 11, 1928 in Dexter, Michigan to the parents of Jacob John Brenner and Hazel Jean Fiddler. During his younger years he helped out on his parent's farm in Grass Lake and then moved to Jackson where he married Virginia Jean "Dedee" Nowak on October 30, 1948 in Stueben, Indiana. They were married for 39 years before he retired. George also helped his son run Brenner's Towing and Snowplow Business alongside his wife. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing cards, going to steamshow and fairs, watching WWE, and tinkering in his garage or doing yard work.
George had 3 siblings and 3 half siblings, Frida Maher, Darrell Brenner, Katherine Drake, Hap Taynton, Bud Sedgbear, Lester McCoy Fiddler, whom all preceded him in death. He had 3 children with his wife, Dedee; Linda King, baby girl Brenner who preceded him in death, and Gary Brenner; 5 grandchildren, Lori King, Heath, April, Jacob, and Christiana Brenner; and 4 great grandchildren, Eddie and Eliot Smalley, Adam Brenner, and Tiffany Wiles.
George was a good husband, father, grandfather, friend, and person. He was a very hard working and loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 1 at 10:30 AM.
