Margul, Genevieve "Genny"
Age 93, passed away at the Allegiance Hospice Home on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, under the loving care of her family and Allegiance Hospice. Genny was preceded in death by her husband Walter "Whitey", parents Mary (Gajewska) and Peter Poletek, her sisters Stella Gutowski and Lottie Drongowski, brothers Stanley and Joseph Poletek, and baby boy Margul. Genny is survived by her son Jim (Barb) and daughters Judy (Joe) Wolfe and Mary Jo (Chet) Warner; 9 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
Genny graduated from St. Joseph's Hospital in Detroit, MI with a nursing degree in 1939. She retired as an RN from Foote Hospital in 1978. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family. The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to Allegiance Hospice and their staff.
Per her wishes cremation has taken place and a private service will be held for the family.
For those who wish, memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary Star of the Sea Parish or Allegiance Hospice Home.
