KORNISKI, GARY F.

Of Jackson passed away Friday December 2, 2011 at Allegiance Health, age 57 years. Survived by his father Edward S. Korniski, brother Richard E. Korniski and two sisters; Jeanette Knapp and companion Jimmie Snyder and Joyce Korniski. Gary's companion Cheryll A. Erickson, three nieces, one nephew, three great nephews and one great niece. Preceded in death by his mother, Lottie Korniski and sister in law Mary L. Korniski. Gary was Past President of Falcons Nest #336 where he was an active member and volunteer. He was employed at Hatch Stamping, enjoyed camping, bon fires, playing euchre and enjoyed World of Outlaws Sprint Car Racing. Gary was an avid U of M fan and very much enjoyed his great nephews and great niece sporting events.

Gary is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a prayer service will be held on Monday at 10 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Chapel at 10:30 AM. Interment St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Father Andrew J. Dunne, O.S.F.S. will officiate at the Funeral Mass.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM with a Falcon Farewell at 6 PM.

Contributions to the Falcon's Scholarship Fund in Gary's memory would be appreciated.
