In loving memory of Gale D. Wollet, 81 years of age of Jackson, MI. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, May 28, 2021. He is survived his children, Jimmy (Angi) Wollet, Julie (Ron Ellison) Wollet, Theresa Wollet, Randy (Heather) Wollet; grandchildren, Andy, Sara, Rachell, Jamie, Sheila, Stephanie, Abby, Nikki, Katherine, Curtis, Brittany, Brandy, Angel, Gabby and Julia; 24 great grandchildren; sister, Pat (Ron) Boone; two brothers, Earl (Pat) Wollet and Lyle Wollet; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Sheila and one brother, Doyle Wollet.

Gale was in the United States Army Reserve. He retired as a public safety officer for Blackman Township. He worked as an operator at Dunigan Brothers. Gale also enjoyed farming, hunting, spending time at his cabin up north, and especially enjoyed time spent with his family. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be deeply missed.

According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at 1:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Fr. Chas Canoy officiating.

The family will receive friends at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Saturday from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.

Instead of sending flowers, contributions to the care and surgery of Gale's dog, "Molly" c/o James Wollet would be appreciated.

O God, who brought us to birth, and in whose arms we die, in our grief, contain and comfort us; embrace us with your love, give us hope in our confusion and grace to let go into new life; through Jesus Christ. Amen.
