Griswold, Fred M. Sr.

Of Jackson, passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021 under the loving care of his family and the staff at the Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home at the age 72 years. Survived by his two sons, Frank (Tammy) Griswold and Fred (Sheila) Griswold; several grand and great grandchildren; two sisters, Phyllis Foster and Lorraine Flick; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kisuk and his second wife, Yvonne. Fred was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from the State Prison of Southern Michigan.

Graveside services with Military Honors by the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 1:00 PM at St. John's Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, May 14 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM. The funeral home is limited to 25 persons at a time and masks and social distancing will be required.
