Marriott, Frank Albert, Jr.
Of Jackson, went to be with the Lord on June 27th, 2022. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Barbara Lou (Varner) Marriott, his mother Evelyn Marriott, father Frank Albert Marriott, daughter Jana Marie (Marriott) Weems, and grandson Joshua William Weems.
He is survived by his sons Frank (Kendlyn), Todd (Diane), and Steve; grandchildren Amanda (Ty) Mitchell, Jacob, T.J. (Molly), Chad (Mary Ruth), Jesse, Darci Lou, Jackson, Kristin (Andrew) Jervis, Kevin Schaller, Nathan Vickery & Bailey Vickery; great-grandchildren Aiden Marriott, Christopher Marriott, & Skyler Jervis; his sister-in-law Lorraine Varner; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Frank was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He retired from Way Bakeries in 2006 and spent his free time gardening, playing cards, reading and watching westerns, and drinking beer with his brother-in-law Paul Cook. He was a lifelong member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church where he often volunteered and attended social functions.
Frank will be remembered for his caring demeanor and giving spirit. After 16 years, he is finally reunited with his beloved wife.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 1:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Robert Pienta officiating. Interment will follow at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday, June 30 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM. The family will also receive friends at the St. John's Church on Friday, July 1 from 12:30 to 1:00 PM.
Instead of sending flowers, contributions to St. John's Church or School would be appreciated.
