Lozier, Frank J.
of Jackson, passed away on Monday, May 6, 2013 at the age of 93 years. Frank is survived by his wife of 66 years, Irene; four children, Patricia (John) Ziemba, John (Karen) Lozier, Jerry (Bonnie) Lozier and Dave (Michelle) Lozier; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Sophie Lozier, Dorothy Lozier and Eileen Bush; numerous nieces and nephews. Frank was preceded in death by one sister, Emily Dybas and three brothers, Leo, Ed and Joseph.

Frank was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps, was Senior Class President of Jackson High School of 1940, retired from Kelsey Hayes after 42 years of service, was a Navy Veteran of World War II, member of Knights of Columbus Council #9131and was a member of the Lamplighters Dance Club. Frank also volunteered at Foote/Allegiance Hospital for 30 years. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards and walking and was an avid traveler. Frank was a people person and leaves many friends that have fond memories of him.

Mr. Lozier is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will take place on Saturday at 9:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Father James Shaver will be the celebrant at the Funeral Mass. Interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday from 2–4 and 6–8 PM with a Rosary Service at 6:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or the charity of your choice.

The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to the nurses and aides at Spring Arbor Assisted Living Center for their care and compassion.
