of Jackson, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 8, 2011 at the age of 78 years. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Dorothy; four children, Lorri (Daniel) Heddinger, Greg (Therese) Guidice, Jodi (Robert) Farleigh and Katie Guidice; five grandchildren, Danielle and Jared "J.P." Heddinger, Darcy, Frank and Carly Guidice; one sister; one nephew and several cousins in Australia and Italy. He was preceded in death by one sister, Phyllis F. Guidice.

Frank was a salesman and independent rep. for 32 years who enjoyed working and continued to work up until the time of his death. He owned and operated Frank's Barber Shop for several years and was a member of Elks Lodge #113. He loved people and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also loved sports; was an avid Red Wings fan, was an umpire in youth baseball for many years and enjoyed running. Frank felt very blessed to have so many wonderful neighbors and friends.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. A Scripture Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:00 PM.

A brief Prayer Service will be held for Frank at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday at 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Father Timothy MacDonald will be the celebrant at the Mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
