Jacobs, Francisco "Frank"
of Jackson, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at the age of 80 years. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Rosa; four children, Martin "Marty" (Laurie) Jacobs, Alberto R. "Bert" Jacobs, Victor Jacobs, Rita (Tim) Cross; 13 grandchildren, Tom, Trisha, Tiera, Tyler, April, Ashley, Robert, Eric, Jeremy, Nikki, Alec, Kyle and Stephen; 10 great grandchildren; one brother, John (Donna) Jacobs; two sisters, Elizabeth Lopez and Connie (Morris) Bowser. Frank was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a life member of the American Legion Post #29. He retired from Goodyear, was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and enjoyed going to garage sales and working in his garden. Frank was very friendly and outgoing and was definitely a people person.

Frank is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where the family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2–4 and 6–8 PM. A Rosary Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 7:30 PM.

A brief Prayer Service will be held at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday at 9:30 AM followed by Mass of the Christian Burial at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Reverend James Shaver will be the celebrant.

Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Jackson County American Legion Ritual Team.
