Lefere, Frances "Fran"
of Jackson, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2010 at the age of 94 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert V. Lefere. She is survived by five children, Suzanne (John) Crowley, Albert W. (Judy) Lefere, Carole (Bill) Cavanaugh, Thomas (Anne) Lefere, Francie (Pat) Richardson; 24 grandchildren, Dan, Kathy, Bill, Mary Jo, Susie, Carolyn, Tim, Sherrie, Al, Connie, Andy, Jodie, Colleen, Bill, Beth, Kerry, Kevin, Tommy, Lindsay, Patrick, Maureen, Joe, Mark and Cami. Preceded in death by one grandson, David. Also survived by 35 great grandchildren, one sister, Dorothy Louagie, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Perkins and one sister, Mary Louise Vogelsang. Fran was a member of the Perpetual Adoration at Queens Church, a member of Queens Guild and was an avid supporter of Lumen Christi High School. She took great pride in her entire family but especially enjoyed and supported all of her grandchildren's activities.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm with a Rosary Service at 6:00 pm. There will also be visitation on Friday at Queens Church from 12:30-1 pm.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church on Friday at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place in St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Reverend Timothy MacDonald will be the celebrant.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lumen Christi High School or Queen of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church.
