Eichhorn, Frances Hazel

Of Jackson, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 at the age of 77.  She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Sauter (James); grandchildren, Jackie Baltimore (King), Ryley Sauter, Kendra Sauter, and Jimmy Sauter Jr.; great grandchildren, Royce Charlie Jude and several step grandchildren; her only brother, to whom she spoke with daily, Douglas Chase and two sisters Madeline and Nancy.  She was preceded in death by her parents, DeWayne and Hazel (McCann) Chase and grandson, Jeremy Sauter whom she has been joyously reunited with.

Fran attended St. Johns High School from 9th to 12th grade and graduated in 1964. Fran spent the majority of her working years at Jacobson's Warehouse until they closed.  In her free time Fran liked to craft and scrapbook. She created beautiful keepsakes for her family and our Christmas trees are filled with her handmade ornaments.  Fran enjoyed attending all of the various sporting, school and social events of her grand children. She never missed a game and was our #1 Fan. Her presence is greatly missed by all of us.

According to wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday, September 29 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM with a Rosary Service lead by Deacon David Etters at 1:00 PM.  A Graveside Service will follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery.
