Frances Ann DeKlein was born in Jackson, Michigan on April 16, 1948 to the union of Leona (VanToll) DeKlein and Peter DeKlein. Frances passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018. She graduated with a high school diploma in May 1992 from Hanover-Horton High school. Frances lived with her mother during which time she was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Concord, MI until her mid-forties. After her mother's passing, Frances moved in with her brother, Richard and his wife, Aimee and later became a member at North Parma United Methodist Church. Frances became a resident at Jackson Friendly home in November 2011 and remained there until her passing. During her time there she enjoyed playing bingo, making arts and crafts, and spending time with staff and residents. Frances is known for loving people, cats and her nephew Jarrett.
She leaves to cherish her memories her niece Nichole, great nephew Jarrett, cousin Eilleen, a host of family and friends, the residents and staff at Jackson Friendly Home and the staff of Compassus Hospice.
Frances was preceded in death by her mother Leona DeKlein, father Peter DeKlein, brothers Richard, Peter and Donald DeKlein.
She is survived by her niece Nichole Phillips, great Nephew Jarrett DeKlein, Cousin Eilleen VanToll, Sister in law Aimee DeKlein, brother Gordon (Carol) DeKlein, nephews David (Colleen) DeKlein, David DeKlein and Peter (Becky) DeKlein, nieces Vicky (Doug) Kyser and Elizabeth LaRock, and a host of other family members and friends.
Frances is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Celebration of Her Life will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 1:00 PM with Chaplain Rich Mitterling officiating. A private interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM.
