MILLER, FR. RANDY

Surrounded by his family and fellow clergy Father went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 28, 2011 at the age of 50 years. Survived by his siblings; Joe (Irene) Miller, Bill (Carolyn) Miller, Jerry (Bev) Miller, Carl Miller, Marie (Dave) Williams and Pat (Diane) Miller; numerous nieces, nephews, church and family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Marian Miller. Fr. Randy was ordained a Catholic Priest on June 10, 1989. He served at many parishes in the Lansing Diocese and, for the past eight years, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. In addition, Father also served as associate Pastor at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Friday at 10:30 AM. The Most Reverend Earl Boyea, Bishop of the Diocese of Lansing, will be officiating. Interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Lansing on Friday at 3:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. John Church Heritage Fund or St. John Elementary School would be appreciated.

The family will receive friends at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Thursday from 1:00 to 8:00 PM with a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM.
