Florence B. Louagie (Hinkle)

LOUAGIE (HINKLE), FLORENCE

Of Jackson passed away under the loving care of her family and the staff at the Allegiance Hospice Home on Saturday, July 6, 2013 age 91 years. Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Walter A. Louagie, two sisters, Josephine Malewitz and Geraldine Young, three brothers, Robert, Donald and Richard Hinkle. She is survived by her brothers and sisters; Genevieve Vannest, Lucille (Tony) Janiak, Dorothy (Corey) Brautiguan, JoAnne (John) Sposito, Carol (Alvin) Cheesbro, Arthur (Donna) Hinkle, Norman (Barbara) Hinkle and James (Patricia) Hinkle. Special nieces, Mary Lynne Duffy and Jeanne Holda and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Florence retired from Consumers Power Company after many years of service and remained active in their Women's Employee Association. She was a avid golfer and loved to garden.

According to her wishes cremation has taken place. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Thursday at 10:30 AM with Father James Shaver officiating.

In lieu of flowers contributions to St. John's Church or St. Luke's Clinic would be appreciated.
