GRUND, FLORENCE M.
Widow of Joseph M. of Jackson, passed away Sunday May 2, 2010 age 96 years. Survived by her loving family: Children; Joan (Don) Pitts, Nancy VanWinkle, Joseph R. (Melissa) Grund, Mary Vogt, James (Carol) Grund. 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by 3 brothers. Florence was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the Third Order of St. Francis. She loved to sew and donated many quilts to her family and friends. Florence's faith and family were the most important things in her life. Mrs. Grund is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held Wednesday 10:00 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Catholic Church 10:30 AM. Interment St. John's Cemetery. The Rev. James Shaver officiating.

The family would like to thank the staff at Arbor Woods Assisted Living for the care and compassion shown to their mother for the past seven years.

In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Joseph Catholic Church would be appreciated.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 3 to 7 PM. Rosary Tuesday 4:30 PM.
