Walicki, Eugenia P. "Jean"
of Jackson, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at the age of 93 years. She is survived by one daughter, Nancy (Bryan) Utter; one son, Richard (Shari) Walicki; eight grandchildren, Bryan Utter, Richard (Kate) Walicki, Christopher Utter, Kristen (Michael) Salata, Jim (Leslie) Utter, Kris (Beth) Doerr, Cherraline Doerr, Staccie (Joey) Warren; nine great grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Leo J. Walicki, daughter-in-law, Sue Walicki, two brothers and three sisters. She retired from Polly's Food Service, was a life long member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church & Rosary Society and was a member of the P.N.A. She also enjoyed bowling & bingo and loved her grandchildren. Mrs. Walicki is at the Desnoyer Funeral Home where a Prayer Service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 9:30 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will take place at St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Reverend Paul Grehl O.S.F.S. will be the celebrant.
The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Friday from 5–8 PM. A Rosary Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sue Walicki Scholarship Fund at the Jackson Community Foundation.
