Tyslenko, Eugene John

age 87, of Jackson passed away peacefully on, Thursday, August 30, 2018 with his loving family by his side. Gene was born on December 5, 1930 to Peter and Anna (Schweda) Tyslenko in Jackson. He served our country honorably in the United States Army. Gene is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Elizabeth "Betty", daughter Susan (Tim) Jacobs, son Daniel (Shelley) Tyslenko, son Stephen Tyslenko, son Tom (Lisa) Tyslenko; grandchildren Andy (Kate) Jacobs, Lindsay (Ryan) Fausett, Cory Tyslenko, Sydney Tyslenko, Kelsie (Travis) Kenton; 5 great grand children; siblings Eleanor Konieczki, Irene Mroz, and Richard (Lorraine) Tyslenko.

Gene loved farming and driving truck, tinkering in the barn, gardening and John Deere tractors. Gene loved traveling and was a member of the Michigan Travel Trailer Club. He was a member of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church. He loved spending time with his family and especially his grand children and great grand children.

The family will receive friends at the Desnoyer Funeral Home on Monday, September 3 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm with a Rosary Service at 7:00 pm. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, September 4 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 10:00 am with Father James Shaver as the Celebrant. Interment will follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery, Jackson.
